Congratulations to our graduates Raquel Grimaldo and Jiah Marks Sr. (with honors)! They are two of the first graduates for Nebraska Indian Community College's Business Administration and Tribal Nation Building Bachelor's program.

Raquel has served as both Secretary and Treasurer throughout her time with our chapter; Jiah has served as our Vice President since he joined AIBL. In fact, Jiah was nominated to serve as President. It was his desire to lead with traditional values and serve alongside women in a supportive warrior role that allowed NICC AIBL having a woman as President for the last two years.

Both of these amazing students have led with values of support, community, and culture, providing ideas and empowering others wherever they could. By leading with pride in their community and compassion, these two have helped to foster an environment built on mutual trust, and belonging, in a way that wouldn't have been possible otherwise.

NICC AIBL will miss you!

NICC AIBL would like to offer an abundance of long overdue thanks to Osage Nation Principal Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear for his kind donation to our chapter. Chief Standing Bear was a guest speaker at Nebraska Indian Community College and kindly directed his honorarium to a club with limited funding, which happened to be us.

Because of Chief Standing Bear's donation, we were able to secure needed funding to take a group of dedicated students to Las Vegas for the National American Indigenous Business Leaders Student Conference that is held in conjunction with NCAIED - National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development's Reservation Economic Summit this March.

As a chapter that is led primarily online across multiple states and Tribes, we had to come together on Teams to give thanks. So with that, 𐓏𐒷𐓏𐒻𐓁𐒰͘ (we-wi-noⁿ), wi-btha-hoⁿ, yakoke, thank you to Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear for supporting our little TCU chapter.
