Howard Temin Lakeshore Path parkrun is a free 5K run/walk every Saturday at 9am on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison.

We meet at the north end of Park Street, but inside the Memorial Union in winter. Pre-run briefing begins at 8:45.

Hi friends -- HTLP parkrun #266 is happening on Saturday morning. Will you be joining us? We will be there! I think we have a couple of groups coming out to complete their end-of-program 5k event! Let's cheer them on with a big turnout!

As usual, we will meet at the north end of park st., this is between the Helen C White library and the memorial union. We will meet at 8:50am so we can have announcements and head to the start by 9am.

We are in luck this week though! We have people to marshal the boathouse and the turnaround and we have a tail walker. We also have someone on tokens and a couple extra helpers for the finish. So, that is great news!!

What a nice morning for HTLP parkrun #265! We had 50 people complete the course today and a few dogs too! It was great to see some kids out this week, as we expect many more next week when the Let Me Run groups come.

HI friends -- who is looking forward to HTLP parkrun #265 on Saturday, May 23rd? I know we are! It looks like we should have some nice run/walking weather on Saturday morning. We hope you will join us!

As usual, we will meet at the picnic benches at the north end of Park st. This is right between the Helen C White library and the Memorial Union. Look for our sign! We will meet at 8:50am, have announcements, and head to the start by 9am.

We are also in need of some volunteers this weekend. If you would like to be a tail walker, turnaround marshal, or boathouse marshal, please let me know! It is a great way to engage with the parkrun community when you need a day off, maybe are recovering from an injury, or just plain want to volunteer.

Hi friends - we had 43 people (and a few dogs) join us on this beautiful May morning for HTLP parkrun #264! We had a few hiccups with the tokens in the teens, so sorry if we made a mistake. We did what we could to rectify it. Also, I didn't get a barcode for the token person or our parkwalker. If I could get those, it would be appreciated and you can get parkrun official volunteer credit. Please feel free to send us a message.

Also, we lost both tokens 8 and 36. If anyone has them, please bring them back next week!

On another note, Lisbet hit #100 events and Stuart hit #100 volunteers! Great job team!

Hi friends -- HTLP parkrun #264 is coming up on Saturday, May 16th! It's looking like it is going to be a nice Saturday morning, so we hope you will join us! Fortunately, graduation has passed. I don't think there will be parking problems this Saturday, but I hope I'm not missing anything.

As usual, we will meet at the picnic benches at the North end of Park Street. This is between the memorial union and the Helen C White library. We will meet at 8:50am so we can have announcements and head to the start by 9am.

If you would like to be a turnaround marshal or a boathouse marshal (like the cool people in the picture below), please let us know. We could use people for these positions!!

HI friends - 42 people joined us for HTLP parkrun #263 on this beautiful Saturday morning! Unfortunately, traffic was rough because of graduation, but we were glad that so many people were able to navigate the caps and gowns and find a parking spot. Well done!

Hi friends! Are you ready for HTLP parkrun #263? It looks like it should be a really nice morning. And, this is the weekend we may see those college graduates walking around, en masse, with their caps and gowns. So, please join us to run, walk, or jog at parkrun! Oh, and Tom D will be our turnaround marshal. Who know what he will be wearing or what signs or noises he may have to cheer you on!

We will meet at 8:50am at the north end of park street at the Birge overlook. This is between the Helen C White Library and the Memorial Union. We will have announcements and head to the start by 9am.

If you are interested in volunteering, we could still use a tail walker. So let us know!

What a lovely morning for 34 people to walk, run, or jog the HTLP parkrun course this morning! It was a crisp May morning, but boats were being lowered into the water for the summer. It felt very refreshing at the lake shore. And it was so great to see so many participants today!

Hi HTLP parkrun folks! Event #262 is happening on Saturday, May 2nd. Wow -- is it May already?? It looks to be a bit chilly on Saturday morning, but not too bad. And, hopefully there will be less troubles with parking this weekend. We hope you will come join us to walk, run, jog, or volunteer! That's right, volunteer! We could use a turnaround marshal, boathouse marshal, and tail walker. Please let us know if you are interested!

Hi HTLP parkrun friends! Are you ready for HTLP parkrun #261? We sure are! As a head's up, this is CrazyLegs weekend. While we do not have to contend with the CrazyLegs runners, we will have to deal with the CrazyLegs traffic! It may be difficult to park, so please plan accordingly.

For our group, we will still meet at 8:50am at the north end of Park st. This is between the Helen C White Library and the Memorial Union. We plan to have announcements and head to the start by 9am. The weather looks to be a beautiful dry 50oF.

If you would like to volunteer this weekend, we could use a boathouse marshal, turnaround marshal, and tail walker. Please let us know if you are interested in these roles.

Hi friends! It was a bit blustery today and a bit crowded on the HTLP parkrun course with our Race for Rehab friends, but we made it! Nearly 50 people participated in HTLP parkrun #260 today. Oh, and if you are doing the math, that would technically be 52 weeks * 5 years!! Great job team!
