A new survey by our affiliates at the Center for Communication and Civic Renewal examines public opinion in the Midwest in the weeks leading up to the election, revealing the partisan divides that shaped voting patterns in critical battleground states. One major finding: Midwestern Republicans were more likely than Democrats to report they are certain to vote (89% vs 84%). This may help explain Republican gains in WI, MI, and MN – the authors conclude "Democrats were less successful at motivating their supporters to vote." Read more ⬇
