From all of us at the UW-Madison Center for South Asia, we sincerely thank those who were able to participate in this year's 50th Annual Conference! We hope that the College Year in India and Nepal Reception allowed you to connect with friends old and new. As the Center for South Asia continues to prioritize preserving the legacy of this historic program, building up the CYIIN Archive project is at the center of that mission.
The CYIIN Archive serves as a central repository for program photos, narratives, and digital material. Organized by program location and decade/year, we hope that you can assist us in identifying past CYIIN members so that we can expand our outreach to alumni. If you are able to identify individuals from the group photo gallery currently located in the Archive, we request that you fill out a group photo identification form linked at the top of the page. If you have photos you would like to submit to the Archive, please send an electronic copy to our [email protected] or submit via the Archive submission form.
The Archive is not limited to photos---we also welcome video/audio narratives, interviews, and written submissions. We especially welcome interviews with individuals from the host communities that highlight CYIIN’s impact and reach! Regardless of submission format, please be sure to include your name, program year, program location, and any other important information about the submission. All submissions will be uploaded to the CYIIN Archive and may be edited for length.
As the study abroad landscape shifts, we are grateful for your continued engagement with this project in documenting the transformative experiences of CYIIN alumni and host communities!
Thank you for Visiting our Archive! View the CYIIN group photo gallery here. The archive is organized by site, followed by year.
