Test Taking Tips, Get ready for the Midterms Workshop!

​​With midterms coming up, come and learn tips and tricks when it comes to taking tests. Barbara Ducharme, one of our counselors, will come and talk about test-taking strategies.

The workshop will also go over stress management including mental health tips, meditation, etc.

Priority Registration for RISE students begins on March 9th!

We will offer drop-in support sessions in-person at TRUAX Student Success Center C1434 or online https://madisoncollege.webex.com/meet/advising to help you plan your Fall ’22 schedule and enroll in classes. Snacks provided.

Coaches and Advisors will be available at the drop-in sessions from 10:00 am -2:30 pm on the following days:
Wednesday, March 9th to Friday, March 11th
Monday, March 14th to Wednesday, March 16th

The RISE team is ready to help you so come see us and take advantage of registering first!

Join us on December 15th, 1-3pm as we celebrate our graduates and each other. The event will take place in the Intercultural Exchange at Truax.

There will be Cookies, Cocoa, Games, and good old holiday music sure to brighten your holiday spirit.

All RISE graduates are encouraged to come and complete exit interviews and let us wish you well. All graduates will be able to pick up graduation stoles.

RISE EVENT: FINISH STRONG!
Wednesday, December 1ST from 10am to 3pm

Connect with your RISE Team for all the support and resources you need to finish the semester STRONG. Advising, Coaching and Peer Support will be available in-person at our RISE offices.

We will also have an online success coach available to help with any questions from our remote participants. Snacks and gift cards will be available on-site at our Truax and Goodman South Campus locations.

Join us on November 10th as we honor our students at the 5th annual First-Generation Student Celebration. The event includes alumni keynote speaker Gabriela Zumwalt, our first in-person induction of Tri Alpha students, and a luncheon.

This is a fantastic First-Generation, interactive, and fun event.
