NORD at UW-Madison Jumpstart your Scandinavian language studies with NORD: Nordsommar/Nordsommer. Participants gain a year of language study in 8-weeks.

NORD offers synchronous online courses in elementary Danish in an intensive format. NORDsummer, one of the five Wisconsin Intensive Summer Language Institutes, is a special eight-week course in Nordic languages for beginners from any background. New to Summer 2025: Elementary Danish!
