🎓ATTENTION GRADUATING CAE SCHOLARS 🎓

We are pleased to share information about this year’s CAE awards for graduating students and to invite you to submit a nomination. 

As a soon-to-be graduate, we invite you to nominate yourself for a CAE award! All CAE awardees and graduating scholars will be celebrated during CAE’s Graduation and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 30th.

Along with all our self-nominated awards, we will also have the Director’s Award, which staff will nominate students for.

We ask that you self-nominate by Friday, April 3, following this link: https://go.wisc.edu/6061qk (you can self-nominate for any award, except Director’s Award). 

Let us know if you have any questions. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Summer Scholarships are Now Available on WISH!
The general UW-Madison Undergraduate Scholarship for Summer Study is open to UW–Madison undergraduates who are in good academic standing, have a cumulative GPA that reflects academic success, and are enrolled in at least one UW–Madison summer course. These are need-based awards given to high-achieving undergraduate students seeking financial support to attend Summer Term at UW–Madison. Awards range between $500 and $1000.

Students with a current FAFSA on file and demonstrated financial need who complete their Undergraduate Scholarship for Summer Study application before midnight on March 15, 2026, may be eligible to receive their scholarship decision by the end of March, before summer course enrollment opens.

Other options for summer scholarships include:
• Summer Finish scholarship – for students planning to finish their degree in the summer.
• Summer Internship Scholarship – for students participating in unpaid internship over the summer.

Our Story

The Center for Academic Excellence is an academic support unit that serves UW-Madison L&S students. The center also provides aid for first-generation, low-income, and multicultural underrepresented student populations. CAE strives to foster an inclusive teaching and learning environment that helps students reach their academic potential, attain their undergraduate degrees, and realize their human promise as they become citizens of a global community.
