Join UW-Milwaukee's Institute of World Affairs for an exploration of conflict, youth and peacebuilding at this special free virtual program!

We're excited to welcome Elana Haviv, Director of Generation Human Rights and Ron Haviv, internationally renowned photojournalist and co-founder of the Title VII Foundation, to introduce ways to bring these topics into classroom and community settings.

Imagine: NextGen Voices Reflect on Peace is a multimedia, open-source curriculum designed to cultivate an understanding of the complexities of peace. It focuses on youth-centered narratives from post-conflict environments, transitional justice, and peace initiatives.

The curriculum fosters global literacy and enhances media literacy, enabling participants to gain deeper insights into how the aftermath of war and ongoing conflicts affect young people. It encourages students to explore the meaning of “peace” and supports educators in integrating the concept of peace into their classrooms.
