UW-Madison Learning and Talent Development LTD develops and delivers online & classroom education programs that support campus-wide needs and serves as a campus expert to deliver and assess learning.

Learning & Talent Development (LTD- formerly known as the Office of Human Resource Development, OHRD) is in the Office of Talent Management (OTM) within the Office of Human Resources (OHR). LTD develops and delivers online and classroom education programs that support campus-wide needs and serves as a campus expert to deliver and assess learning. Partners with other campus units to develop and del

iver specific, occupation-based education programs and learning events open to UW-Madison employees. Works to provide curriculum and learning development consulting services to campus units, operation support to educational programs across campus, maintains office employee learning records for all employees, workforce and organizational development service to the campus community, and learning development policies and guidelines. Leads the campus-wide development of programs for employees and supervisors and serves as subject-matter experts for competency.

Register for the Leadership and Management Development Conference on Wednesday, November 9 at Union South.

Join emerging and advanced leaders within the Madison community for a full day of professional development and networking. Participants will walk away with skills that can be applied to their own work, as well as their teams and organizations.

Breakout sessions will focus on career management; engagement, inclusion, and diversity; leadership; personal development and workplace skills; relationship building and communication; and wellness.

Faculty, staff, and community members are welcome. While it tailors to developing leadership and management skills, participants do not need to be in a position of direct leadership to attend and benefit from the conference.

Fee: $135 UW Affiliates; $175 non-UW Affiliates

Deadline to register is October 25.

Join Joseline Nyinawabera's keynote presentation "Brand Like Beyoncé – Building an Authentic and Strong Personal Brand" at the annual Women and Leadership Symposium on June 1.

Nyinawabera is a '22 MBA graduate of the Wisconsin School of Business and has diverse experiences across marketing and sales in corporate, higher education, and startup industries.

She combined her love for marketing and serving others to launch BlkBld & Co., a boutique marketing firm that seeks to help black-owned businesses grow and scale.
