Read all about our wonderful MBA Program Director here!
Not included below is that she definitely makes sure you know how to properly cite your sources; hopefully she didn’t make you learn the hard way. 😉
RCB Professorships
Dr. Christie R. Hough holds the John G. and Pierrette Phillips Professorship and is the MBA Director and a Professor of Management at the RCB. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Mississippi State University, and while there she also earned her Master of Business Administration in Accounting. In 2011, Dr. Hough earned her PhD in Business Management from Jackson State University.
Dr. Hough has been teaching students at Southern Arkansas University since 2011. She has taught students how to excel in several different ways, but especially through: Ethics/ Leadership, Organizational Theory and Behavior, Human Behavior in Organizations, and International Business. Dr. Hough’s extensive research in Human Behavior, Ethics, and many other areas help her stay up to date with higher education and the implementation of the best teaching practices.
The best part of Dr. Hough's day is her morning Bible reading and coffee. Her advice to new students beginning their course of study at the RCB is "Read the syllabus and actually listen in class. We are here to help and want to help, but you should give a good faith effort then ask for assistance”.
The John G. and Pierrette Phillips Professorship in the College of Business was created with funds provided by the Estate of John G. Phillips.
