We are excited to welcome the newest addition to our team, Parker Adair from Lowell, Arkansas! Parker chose to attend Southern Arkansas University because he wanted to be part of an in-state program while also taking his fishing career to the next level. We are excited to have him on the team and cannot wait to see what he accomplishes this season!

This past weekend, our teams competed at Table Rock in Branson, Missouri. We are extremely proud of their performance and representation.

Trace and Levi Loe recorded a total weight of 14.8 lbs.
Asher Williams and Landon Morgan followed with a total of 13.0 lbs.

Congratulations to both teams on their hard work and success.

Team Trace and Levi Loe delivered an impressive performance this week at the Bassmaster College Series on Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Jasper.They weighed in 26.3 pounds on day one to position themselves near the top of the leaderboard, then followed with 24.2 pounds on day two to secure a two-day total of 50.5 pounds. In a highly competitive tournament on one of the nation’s premier bass fisheries, their consistent weights earned them an outstanding 2nd place overall finish.

Trace and Levi Loe finished 32nd with a two-day total of 39.02 pounds, and Asher Williams and Adam Simmons placed 60th with 33.14 pounds! There were 151 boats at MLF PFG College Nationals, so this is a big accomplishment.
They showed up and represented Southern Arkansas University the right way. We are beyond proud of their hard work, dedication, and the way they competed. Way to make us proud.

Our two fishing teams will be traveling to Lake Murray in Columbia, South Carolina for the Major League Fishing National Championship this Sunday. Wish them safe travels and the best of luck. Below is some information about our two teams.

Our first team is Asher Williams and Adam Simmons!

Asher Williams is a senior Plant Science major from Murfreesboro, Arkansas. He is involved in Southern Arkansas University’s Baptist Collegiate Ministry and has been a standout member of the fishing team, qualifying for the MLF National Championship twice. Although Asher originally did not plan on attending college, a campus tour encouraged by his parents completely changed his mind. He fell in love with the atmosphere at Southern Arkansas University and officially signed with the fishing team just one month later.

Adam Simmons earned his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Southern Arkansas University in May 2025. A native of El Dorado, Arkansas, Adam chose SAU for its close proximity to home and the opportunity to stay near the lakes he grew up fishing. Like his teammate, Adam is also a two-time qualifier for the MLF National Championship.

Our second team is Trace Loe and Levi Loe!

Trace Loe is a junior Industrial Technology major with a minor in General Business from Waldo, Arkansas. He is a member of the ShareLunkers Program and a two-time qualifier for the MLF National Championship. Trace chose Southern Arkansas University for its close-to-home location and strong engineering department.

Levi Loe is also a junior Industrial Technology major with a minor in General Business from Waldo, Arkansas. Like his brother, Levi is part of the ShareLunkers Program and a two-time qualifier for the MLF National Championship. He chose Southern Arkansas University for the closeness to home.
