SOCIAL WORK JOB OPENING
UAMS/KIDS FIRST, Following Baby Back Home—Little Rock and Magnolia areas
Full-time Social Work position available in both Little Rock and Magnolia surrounding areas for home visiting program serving clients who have been recently discharged from an NICU. Social worker will work in partnership with a home visiting nurse and will be responsible for preparing assessments, providing supportive services, monitoring parenting concerns, making referrals, and providing guidance in developmental expectations to promote positive parent-child interactions. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or related field required. Current Arkansas Social Work License as required by the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board. Master's degree and experience in a pediatric health care facility preferred. Basic computer skills are required. Must have a valid AR drivers’ license and access to dependable transportation that has current liability insurance. Experience working with families and children desirable.
