🎬 Faculty Film Screening and Q&A 🎬
Screen Arts Professor Dr. Paul Kim recently presented his film “Intertidal” at the International Wildlife Film Festival.
The presentation and Q&A took place at the Roxy Theater in Missoula, Montana.
The Q&A was moderated by Sarah Ferguson, the executive director of the Roxy Theater. Ferguson works with the International Wildlife Film Festival as well.
The IWFF said their mission “is to foster knowledge and understanding of wildlife and habitat through excellent, honest wildlife films and other media, according to their website.
The film features Dr. Florybeth La Valle, a National Science Foundation supported marine biologist from Pepperdine University. The subject of “Intertidal” is La Valle’s ocean research based on a grant she received from the National Science Foundation to study the effects of pollutants on coral reefs around Oahu’s Maunalua Bay.
Congrats to Dr. Kim and the filmmakers for creating such important and impactful films!
