Calling All SAMI's. We are putting together an Alumni Database to be used for professional and social networking. It would be great to get as many contacts as we can for that purpose. We would like to have an ongoing email and phone list. And also know, “where are you now?".

We request that you message either Kevin Wright or Justin Ericson with current contact information, where are you now, and what years you were a SAMI.

Along with that information, If you could also list as many SAMI’s that you can remember you worked with during your years here.

Job Posting with our DC, Dr. Terry...
The job, as it stands now, is M-wed-Friday. Full days. M-w 8:30-12 then 3-6. Friday 7-12 then 2-5. The position is "corrective exercise therapist. Working with Athletes of all ages 1-1 for 30 min to re-establish musculoskeletal and proprioceptive strength post injury. You will work off the two Drs (myself and Dr Heather Whites) instructions and DX and set up treatment plans to assist us in getting these patients back to function. Job entails: assessing patients musculoskeletal weaknesses and coming up with a plan for corrective exercises, kinesio taping, some light modality use, notes in the computer, follow up with patients and communication with Drs and staff. There is room to grow. If you get busy and need to extend hours into the "noon break" or add a day due to demand that is available. To start, pay scale is $22 an hour but again, this can be changed due to performance and demand. Contact Dr. Terry at 805-371-0737

Welcome to the Pepperdine University SAMI Alumni page!
For those who are not familiar with the acronym SAMI... it stands for Student Athletic Medicine Intern. If you worked in the Pepperdine Athletic Training Room during your time at Pepperdine you are a SAMI alumni. The purpose of this page is create a place for alumni to reconnect and for our current SAMI's to connect professionally with alumni. We will be reaching out to all the alumni we can, but records are not the best so please point any SAMI alumni you know of to this page.
