The Alpha Rho Eta chapter of PTK at Kishwaukee College wishes to recognize and congratulate the following students who accepted the invitation to join PTK after our fall induction ceremony. Unfortunately, our spring induction ceremony originally scheduled for last March was canceled along with all other in-person events at Kishwaukee College during the second half of the spring semester. In order that these students receive the recognition they have earned and deserve for this accomplishment, we kindly ask that you share this post and tag any of our newest members so that they can share the post as well.
With more than 3.5 million members worldwide, Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for two-year colleges. PTK recognizes students for their academic achievement and provides programs and opportunities for growth in the four pillars of PTK: scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service. Membership in PTK is by invitation only and requires completion of a minimum of 12 credit hours of coursework toward an Associate's degree and an earned grade point average of 3.5 or higher for invitation. Additionally, to remain a member of PTK, students must maintain high academic standing throughout their studies at the two-year college level.
