This month, we are sharing a mission moment statement from Kim F., who is pursuing an Associate in Science degree and completing classes at Kish towards her Registered Nursing degree at Northern Illinois University. Kim recognized Lori Jones, Adjunct Professor of Mathematics.

“I was very anxious about taking a long overdue statistics class. After speaking to Lori Jones, she came and introduced herself. We discussed her class and how I was going about with my studying. She was so kind and reassuring. She gave me the confidence I needed to succeed so far in this class. I was even very ill during it, and she was great about keeping the communication line open and making herself successful. I know she has additional jobs other than this one. I just want to make sure she knows that her actions have improved my life for the better! Thank you very much.”
