What is Early College?

Early College programs enable a high school student to enroll in a college course for both high school and college-level credit. ASU Three Rivers currently has two early college programs that offer three different models of dual or concurrent enrollment.

1. The DEAL (Dually Enrolled Accelerated Learning) Program with classes taught on the ASUTR campus or online by an ASUTR instructor. In this model, the student receives an ASUTR Partnership Scholarship for one course and the second course is paid by the district or student.

2. The Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP)

· with classes taught at the high school and the instructor provided by the high school. With this model, the student receives an ASUTR Partnership Scholarship which covers the cost of tuition and most fees.
