This week officer spotlight is Alayna Reese and Katie Schaffer!

Alayna Reese
Hometown: Norwich, KS
Position: Recruitment Chairwomen
Major: Animal Science Pre-Vet
What made you choose K-State: I chose K-State because of its strong agricultural programs and the opportunity to be at a college with an attached veterinary school.
Why did you join Clovia:  I joined Alpha of Clovia because of the affordable living opportunities, but what really stood out to me was the chance to live with girls who have strong leadership skills. I wanted to be in an environment that would push me to grow and get involved.”
What do you love about Clovia: I love being around ladies who are always up for a sweet treat!
A fun fact about yourself or a hobby: I am obsessed with Dr.Pepper.

Katie Schaffer
Hometown: Clinton, MO
Position: Recruitment Chairwomen
Major: Animal Science Pre-Vet
What made you choose K-State: I chose K-State because they are a top college for animal science and when I can to visit I immediately felt at home and comfortable on campus
Why did you join Clovia: I joined Clovia because of a past alumni that I am very close with. Once introduced to clovia I loved the idea of living with girls that come from familiar backgrounds and are like minded.
What do you love about Clovia: I love the sisterhood! I have met some of my best friends here and truly formed connections that I know I will carry throughout the rest of my life. 
A fun fact about yourself or a hobby: I grew up showing pigs and poultry!

Major: Animal Science Pre-Vet
What made you choose K-State: The hometown feel of Manhattan, the kind people, and the good Ag program. 
Why did you join Clovia:  A family friend told me about it and I decided to do a tour, I loved the house and the atmosphere so I decided to stay! 
What do you love about Clovia: I love the friendships I have gained while living in the house. 
A fun fact about yourself or a hobby: I own a small herd of my own registered Balancer cows.

Move in was a success!! 💜

On Wednesday all our actives helped our new members unload their cars and get to their rooms!
Once they were moved in we went to roommate dinner followed by house retreat where we made s’mores.
We then participated in Frat Serenades on Thursday and our new members went on their retreat to Sunset Zoo on Friday!!

We are so excited for school to start!

What made you choose K-State? I have always wanted to go to K-State all my life!!
Why did you join Clovia? I had good friends that lived at Clovia
What do you love about Clovia: Being able to work with such responsible and great college girls!
A fun fact about yourself or a hobby: I was Clovia President 51 years ago and I have a twin sister that is also a Clover!
