KCARE works to develop and deliver knowledge that helps to balance the utilization of natural resources in Kansas with the protection of those resources.🌻

KCARE works collaboratively with stakeholders to build bridges and create partnerships among faculty at Kansas State University, researchers and specialists working for K-State Research and Extension, industry experts, landowners and farmers, state agencies, and more. These partnerships enhance research, extension, and teaching activities pertaining to agriculture-related environmental issues. Our

projects examine water management issues, water quality, prairie ecosystem maintenance, fertilizer research and more.

The team at Flickner Farms is partnering up with ! With the platform expanded to cover all 48 contiguous U.S. states, that means satellite-based evapotranspiration data are available nationwide. This enables farmers like the Flickners to make more informed water management decisions.
