In August 2016, Andrew T. This group of 15 men activated the process for Chapter Evaluation.

Osborne, a student at Kansas State University, contacted the Beta Upsilon Chi Fraternity National Office about the opportunity to start a BYX chapter on the Manhattan, Kansas campus. By word of mouth, Andrew surrounded himself with Christian men who shared the common goal of establishing brotherhood and unity among college men based on the common bond of Jesus Christ and resolved to spiritually im

pact students on campus. On October 26, 2016, the Kansas State University Chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi Fraternity was established as the Alpha Upsilon Chapter, successfully becoming the second BYX Chapter in the State of Kansas and the 36th Chapter nationally.

A huge CONGRATS to our 4 seniors! We're very blessed to have had them in BYX and we're excited to see what the Lord has planned for them in the next chapter of their lives. Thanks for the memories!

Introducing our Lambda pledge class, here's Max Faoro! He's from Overland Park, KS and is currently finishing his junior year, studying Finance. His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 19:21, and when asked why he joined BYX, he said "I was looking for a good group of guys to hang out with and also wanted to strengthen my relationship with Christ." When he isn't big chilling with the boys, you can definitely find him jamming on the many instruments he knows how to play. Congrats Max, blessed to have you!

Next up from the Kappa pledge class is Dylan Fanning! He's a Junior from Ottawa, KS majoring in Chemical Engineering. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23:4. When asked why he joined BYX, he said "I wanted to strengthen my bond with the Lord by finding a good group of people to hold me accountable in my spiritual growth." When he isn't pulling an all-nighter for his engineering classes, you'll find him playing literally any sport under the sun! Congrats Dylan, pumped to have you!

Next up from the Kappa pledge class is Tommy Brotton! He's a Senior from right here in Manhattan, with a dual major in Business Management and Bible Leadership. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 121:2. When asked why he joined BYX, he said "I joined BYX because I was looking for a college ministry with some cool people in it." When he isn't hitting the books, odds are he's either hitting the slopes and skiing or thinking about skiing. Congrats Tommy, excited to have you!

Next up from our Kappa pledge class is Marshall Walton! He's a Junior from Hutchinson, KS studying Accounting. His favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11. When asked why he joined BYX, he said "I wanted to have a group of brothers who are Christ-centered and will continually push me to pursue Christ in all aspects of my life." When he isn't golfing with the boys, you can definitely find him doing some Quads n' Qdoba™️ Congrats Marshall, happy to have you!

First up from the Kappa pledge class is Michael Ohler! He's a Freshman from right here in Manhattan, majoring in Accounting with an Entrepreneurship minor. His favorite Bible verse is James 3:9-10. When asked why he joined BYX, he said "After going to the rush events last semester and seeing the environment of BYX, it was a no-brainer for me to join. Being a part of a group like BYX has already helped me grow in my faith and lets me help others do that as well." When he isn't busy getting hurt in the many sports he plays, you can find him enjoying the many local hiking trails! Congrats Michael, blessed to have you!
