K-State Athletics Operations would like to invite you to participate in an exciting and rewarding part-time employment starting at $12.00/ HR! We are currently seeking reliable, courteous, and customer-oriented community members to fill various responsibilities on our 2022 K-State Football Event Staff. Positions include USHERS, TICKET TAKERS, PARKING, SECURITY, CUSTODIAL.
Custodial - Custodians are primarily responsible for pre-event cleaning, facility preparation and set-up; maintaining cleanliness of public areas (concourses, restrooms, clubs and suite areas, and public seating space) during events; assisting with post-event facility clean-up.
Peer Security - Peer Security provides checks for prohibited items at all public entries via bag check and enforcement of entry policies for authorized items. Peer Security is also responsible for restricting access to specified areas through credentialed access control.
Ticket Takers - Ticket Takers are responsible for authorizing fan entry at public gates through the scanning of tickets and the enforcement of entry policies. In addition, Ticket Takers direct fans to seating and assist in resolving fan service issues regarding ticketing.
Ushers - Ushers are primarily responsible for greeting fans in seating areas and assisting them in finding their seats according to ticketed locations. Ushers monitor seating sections, resolve fan issues regarding seating, answer questions and assist fans entering and exiting seating areas as required.
PARKING
Experience the unique tailgating atmosphere at K-State athletic events as a member of the parking staff. Located outside throughout the East and West Lots of Bill Snyder Family Stadium, there are different options for working parking:
Parking Cashier - Parking Cashiers are responsible for greeting fans as they enter the parking lots. They monitor parking entry prior to and during events, collect passes for reserved parking, and cash receipts for general admission parking. Cashiers are responsible for reconciling passes and cash receipts received after events.
Parking Director - Parking Directors are responsible for checking passes for proper parking location, parking vehicles, and directing traffic within the parking lots for during entry and exit. Directors also provide security in the parking lots during events.
