Tiffani Allerheiligen was the student client development specialist for Canopy last fall, a Public Benefit, where she developed social media content, executed social media campaigns, and tracked/reported on key metrics.

"This internship gave me the chance to take what I’d learned in class and actually put it into practice. I was able to use my design, communications, and writing skills on real projects, which made the experience both challenging and rewarding."

Morgan Donaldson, who just graduated from our program in May, was the Social Media intern for the Illinois Farm Bureau last summer, where she covered in-person events, created content calendars, and monitored various social media platforms.

“This internship gave me a deeper insight into the importance of having a strong foundation for communication in the agricultural industry. Over the summer I was able to see firsthand the strong impact that social media has on both farmers and consumers.”

🎓 Peri Andras
Peri made a significant impact during her time at K-State, serving as the President of K-State Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) and editor of The Agriculturist. She says that experience helped her grow both personally and professionally and gave her the chance to build meaningful connections along the way.

After graduation, she’s heading back home to explore opportunities in the communications and agriculture industries and is excited for what’s ahead. Her advice to future students is to get involved and take the opportunities. The more you put yourself out there, the more connections you’ll make and the more meaningful your experience will be.

Congrats, Peri! We’re proud of you and can’t wait to see where you go next. 💜

🎓 Mia Reyes
Mia is graduating with her master’s degree in Agricultural Education and Communications and will continue her academic journey with a Ph.D. in Agricultural Communications at Texas Tech University.

Some of her favorite K-State memories are the simple ones. Lunchtime walks through the gardens, tulips in bloom, and great conversations with friends.

Her advice to students is to try everything. Step outside the College of Ag and look for new ways to grow and connect.

Mia, we are so proud of you. 🌷📖

In the Ag Mag class every semester, our students tell the stories of the people behind the work at the College of Agriculture, just as the advisors and faculty mentors who support student success do!

Did you know the College of Agriculture has a whole team ready to make sure students have the support they need on their college journey?

Our faculty mentors and academic advisors are here to empower every student to graduate with a degree that sets them up for success and provide a team of support behind them at each step along the way.

Learn more about this shift in our strategy to give students our best on page 28 at kstate.ag/Spring2026Agriculturist.
