The National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra (NIT) has been ranked 10th out of 31 NITs in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)-2021, announced by the Ministry of Human Resources on Wednesday.
Instituteโ€™s director Satish Kumar congratulated the faculty, alumni, students and stakeholders of the institute on this achievement.

Congratulations Prof. Mahesh Pal (Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Kurukshetra) on being ranked 130th among the International Researchers in the field of Geological and Geomatics Engineering by Mr. John P.A. Loannidis, Mr. Kevin W. We are delighted to inform you that Alumna Aarzoo Adlakha (2010-14) has completed her Master's Degree (MSc) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

Ms. Aarzoo graduated from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2014. We are delighted to inform you that Alumnus Nishant Dhanendra (2012-16) has been offered admission to the MBA Program at the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.

Mr. Nishant Dhanendra graduated from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2016. Following, He joined NatWest (formerly the Royal Bank of Scotland), where he has worked for 4 years as a Business Intelligence Associate. He will now be starting his two year MBA at the Kellogg School of Management and will also be pursuing a MS in Design Innovation alongside.

Congratulations Alumna Pratibha Narang (2013-17) on being selected by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore for their flagship Post Graduate Program in Management in the 2020-22 Batch.

Ms. Pratibha Graduated from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2017. She started her career with Alstom Transport India Limited as Reliability and Safety Engineer where, she worked for almost 3 years. She was actively involved in Dramatics during her college years and was part of college Nukkad Natak Groups i.e. as AAHWAAN and DYNAMITE.

We are proud to share with you that Alumnus Abhinav Singh (2012-16) has completed his Master's Degree (MS) from The Johns Hopkins University.

Mr. Abhinav graduated from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 2016. He started his career with Liv.ai as Applied Scientist and worked there for 2 years before joining Johns Hopkins University. He has completed his Master's degree in CS specializing in NLP and Human Language Technology. He will be joining Bloomberg LP.

Congratulations Alumnus Sunil Gupta (Managing Partner & CEO, Yotta Infrastructure Solutions) on the launching ceremony of Asia's Largest and World's 2nd largest Tier IV Data Centre Yotta NM1, located in Navi Mumbai. The virtual ceremony was graced by Union IT Minister, Ravi Shakar Prasad Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray, Minister for Industries and Mining, Subhash Desai, Dr. NIRANJAN HIRANANDANI & Darshan Hiranandani, MD and Group CEO, Hiranandani Group.

"The demand for cloud infrastructure is growing significantly. The statutory requirement to store the data locally would further boost the demand, as would the upcoming 5G and Internet of Things," Sunil Said.
