Steve and Michelle Hoffman founded the business in 1992 with the goal of offering truly independent advice. InDepth Agronomy is not affiliated with any Supply Co-ops, Seed Companies, Chemical Companies, or Labs. Instead, our recommendations are based on university research and fine-tuned local experience. Our managing agronomist carries CPAg and CPCC-I certifications and we have two additional CCA

on staff. Our experienced field staff constantly attends schools and industry meetings to stay abreast of current and future technologies.

Steve Hoffman is President, Managing Agronomist and owner of InDepth Agronomy based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, with his wife Michelle and son Ted. Steve is a graduate of UW-Platteville and has been an independent crop consultant for 41 years.

Congratulations to Michelle Hoffman on receiving the Service to National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants (NAICC) Award at this year’s conference.

Michelle has been a dedicated partner of NAICC for 20 years, volunteering her time at the annual meeting. But her dedication and service doesn’t stop when the meeting ends. If you attended the 2024 ESA Wisconsin Farm Tour, you experienced her hospitality and organization firsthand, and her volunteer work serving the Foundation for Environmental Agricultural Education (FEAE) as Treasurer has also been vital for NAICC.

Michelle, it is a privilege to work with you and witness your dedication to independent agronomy. This recognition is so well-deserved!

Each year we enjoy making the corn maze planting design! Please stop out and enjoy the maze this fall, as well as the beautiful sunflower field while it is in full bloom!

Get ready to get lost (on purpose)! Our corn maze opens this Thursday, filled with twists, turns, and fun for all ages!

The maze will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM:
🌽 Admission for only the corn maze is $5 per person (purchase at the reception desk)
🌽 Discovery center admission includes corn maze experience (Thursday through Saturday)

Grab your boots, bring your friends and family, and enjoy a day of adventure at Farm Wisconsin.
