🐹 Fun Fact Friday: The Ultimate Backpack! 🎒✨
It's National Pet Month, and today we’re looking at the ultimate pocket pets—hamsters! You probably know they love to stuff their faces, but their cheeks are practically a superpower.

Did you know a hamster's famous cheek pouches can stretch all the way back to their shoulders? 🤯

Here is what makes those cheeks so incredible:

Heavy Lifting: They can carry up to 20% of their body weight in food at a single time. (That's like a human carrying a massive 30-pound backpack using just their face!)

Built-in Life Jackets: In the wild, some hamsters will puff up their cheek pouches with air and use them as floatation devices to help them float while swimming! 🏊‍♂️🎈

Whether your pets are master packers or just masters of napping, we want to see them! Show us your reading companions in the comments below! 👇🐾

Want to learn more wild facts about your favorite animals? Swing by North Hall Library and check out our zoology and pet care sections! 📚

The video begins with a close-up shot of an open academic book resting on a wooden study desk. The text on the screen reads, "POV: You have the best view on campus." The camera then pans smoothly to the left, moving past a wooden divider panel toward a nearby window.

Through the window, a high-angle, scenic view of a college campus unfolds under a bright, partly cloudy blue sky. Below, lush green lawns are dotted with sidewalks, streetlamps, and blooming pink and white spring trees. In the background, rolling green hills stretch out toward the horizon, completing a peaceful and picturesque campus landscape.

☀️ Holly’s Gardening Tip of the Week: Give Them a Turn! ☀️

Ever notice your indoor plants leaning toward the window? They are reaching for the sun! To help your houseplants grow straight and maintain a full, balanced shape, try rotating them a quarter turn every time you water.

This simple trick ensures every leaf gets its share of vitamin D and prevents your plants from becoming "leggy" or lopsided. 🌿✨
