ified instructors. Our instructors come from various industries and bring a wealth of experience in their respective fields to our students. Our state-of-the-art lab facilities and expert teachers enable us to provide high quality, hands on, interactive instruction to ensure student learning. The goal of Madison Adult Career Center is to provide adults with new skills that will assist them in gaining successful employment. We have been serving adult learners for over 30 years and currently serve approximately 2,000 adults annually through our various training programs and services. Madison Adult Career Center is a self-supporting entity of the Madison Local School District; therefore, tuition and fees are established to cover operating expenses. Textbooks and supplies are included in the total cost unless otherwise noted. Madison Adult Career Center is committed to the training and service we provide. MACC's 2025-26 Graduation Ceremony was held Friday, June 12, 2026. MACC graduated 137 adult students in the 2025-26 school year with 38 graduates also earning their adult high school diploma!

Five graduates were nominated by their instructor(s) for Student of the Year: Taylor Berry, Dental Assisting; Kelsey Henry, Medical Assisting Technologies (daytime); Lauren Hodge, Phlebotomy/EKG; Jessica Hoffman, Medical Assisting Technologies (evening); and Josiah Remy, Welding Technology. Josiah Remy, Welding Technology, was selected as the 2025-26 Student of the Year.

Students graduated from the following career development programs: Advanced Cosmetology, Dental Assisting, Industrial Maintenance Technology, Medical Assisting Technologies, Precision Machining/CNC Technology, Phlebotomy/EKG, Certified Nurse Aide, and Welding Technology. Students also graduated from the following certificate programs: Construction & Welding Fundamentals, Customer & Office Support Technology, Gas Metal Arc Welding, and Nail Technician. Programs range from 96 to 1800 clock hours of training.

Richland County Job & Family Services is seeking applicants for the position of Social Service Worker 1 assigned to Child Care.

Responsibilities include determining eligibility for publicly funded child care services, conducting compliance inspections in the homes of publicly subsidized in-home child care providers, and providing back-up coverage in Non-Emergency Transportation on an as needed basis.

Minimum Requirements:
 Completion of coursework in a major field of study such as social work, sociology, psychology, etc.; or
 Six (6) months experience as a Social Service Worker 1 or equivalent in child welfare, mental health, developmental disabilities, etc.; or
 Completion of an associate degree in social work (or a related field) with equivalent training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree in a relevant field; excellent communications

Salary: $18.43 - $18.98 per hour, based on education

Position Description:
Richland County Job & Family Services seeks full-time Unit Support Worker 2 positions.
Positions are available in public assistance.
In a Call Center environment, responsibilities include assisting client services personnel in all units/departments; greeting, assisting, and screening public assistance applicants; and performing general data entry duties. Must be able to use multiple computer systems while using a headset.

Minimum Requirements:
 Ability to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages;
 Ability to complete forms and write routine correspondence;
 3 courses or 3 months of experience in public relations;
 3 courses or 3 months of experience in office practices and procedures;
 100 hours of training or 1 month of experience in data entry;
 Or education, training and/or experience in an amount equal to the minimum qualifications stated above.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate or bachelor degree in a related field, excellent communication

Salary: $16.85 - $17.36 per hour, based on education
