Hello, friends! We will be hosting our annual Bike-A-Thon fundraiser this Friday, October 25th at South Hall Mall, from 10:30am - 6pm.

This charity event involves members of Alpha Kappa Lambda, relying on donations, to see which brother can bike the furthest distance. All proceeds go to Haven of Tioga County!

HAVEN of Tioga County is a private non-profit organization committed to helping all individuals affected by domestic and sexual violence.

Come pledge your hand against domestic violence on Monday, April 15th at South Hall Mall from 9am - 4pm. Participate in Walk A Mile and Chalk The Walk presented by AKL and HAVEN of Tioga County. Day #2 of Spring Recruitment!

Tonight we will be hosting a Meet the Brothers night at 7:00 PM. Anyone interested in joining our brotherhood is invited to the AKL Lounge on 1st floor Spruce tonight to hangout with the brothers.

Alpha Kappa Lambda is a social fraternity focused on building Men of Character as they progress throughout their collegiate and post collegiate life. As an organization, we pride ourselves on our commitment to raising awareness and support for victims of domestic violence, and the cause to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

It is that time of the year again!
Tomorrow, Alpha Kappa Lambda will be hosting our annual Bike-A-Thon in which we participate in a biking marathon on campus.

We have teamed up with HAVEN of Tioga County to raise awareness of what resources are available to those suffering from domestic violence and will be accepting donations to help further the cause!

There will be free yard games, a quilt raffle, music, and later in the day an opportunity to pie brothers FOR FREE. Follow our event for updates on how things are going AKL Bike-A-Thon!

All proceeds will go to Haven of Tioga County

Alumni Spotlight!
Evan Parker is this weeks Alumni Spotlight.

Evan has been a member of Alpha Kappa Lambda since 2010, and speaks fondly of his time as a brother:

"AKL gave me perspective. Perspective is seeing that all good things end... and not everyone has the same experience, or listens when you give advice (and that is okay!)" "Perspective is learning when to fight, and when to realize it is someone else's. Perspective is seeing that brotherhood goes far beyond the guy to your left and right, but goes to their girlfriends, wives, family, kids, and whoever else they care about."

"Brotherhood continues long after graduation, and for me it has only gotten stronger with time... I've never been more proud than I am at the moment to be a brother, and tomorrow I will be even more proud."

Today is the day!

Rush week for Alpha Kappa Lambda begins today. Come meet the brothers and see what this fraternity is all about!

We will light the grill at 7:00pm, but the public is welcome to join us starting at 6:00pm for yard games, food, and football.

Day 5 of Meet our Executive Board

Tyler Walters is the current Recruitment Chairman of the Gamma Nu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Lambda, Fraternity.

Tyler is a senior at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, and has been a brother since Spring 2016. Tyler noticed ΑΚΛ's commitment to giving back to the community, and saw potential for bettering himself through the fraternity.

Tyler studies Cellular and Molecular Biology, and hopes to one day obtain his MD where he will later pursue a specialty in Immunology. In his free time, he enjoys backpacking, frisbee golfing, and spending time with the brotherhood.
