Chipola College's Student Support Services (SSS) is a TRiO program funded by the U.S. Department of Education to assist eligible students to succeed academically in college. The goals of the Student Support Services program are to increase the retention, graduation, and transfer rates of students participating in the program. SSS encourages academic excellence and student success by providing intr

usive and proactive academic services designed to empower students to address and overcome access challenges to higher education and gains an understanding of how to be successful in the college environment. Chipola College's Student Support Services program is funded to serve 140 students who are currently enrolled at Chipola College and are first-generation college students (parents do not hold a Bachelor's degree), and/or meet federal income guidelines, and/or have a documented disability. Students may be eligible to receive the following services from SSS:

•Academic Advising
•Career Counseling
•Cultural Events and University Visits
•Financial Aid Counseling
•Grant Aid Scholarships
•Peer and Professional Mentoring
•Tutoring
•University/College Transfer Assistance
•Workshops on a variety of topics
