The Landmark Experience puts real-world learning at the heart of every Pioneer's journey through internships, research, service, and leadership. Located between the Muskingum and Ohio rivers in historic Marietta, Ohio, Marietta College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college founded in 1835. About 1,200 students from 32 states and 14 countries call our 90-acre campus home, choosing from m

ore than 70 majors, minors, and areas of concentration built on a strong liberal arts foundation. Signature programs include Petroleum Engineering, Athletic Training, McDonough Leadership, and Physician Assistant Studies, alongside distinctive global partnerships. Just two blocks from downtown, Pioneers find a campus where academics, athletics, and student life all share the same zip code. Students compete across 21 varsity teams in the Ohio Athletic Conference, and many more find their place in 50-plus student organizations. With a 10:1 student-faculty ratio, professors here actually know who you are. That's what the Landmark Experience is built on — initiative, inquiry, and impact that prepares every Pioneer to lead with purpose.
