This morning during the Update & Celebrate event, we recognized our dedicated faculty and staff celebrating 5 to 35 years of service. Interim President Dr. Lee Skinkle shared four guiding principles he encouraged everyone to keep at the forefront of their daily work and interactions:

1. Student Experience First
2. Clear Communication
3. Showing Respect
4. Expressing Empathy

These priorities are not new values, but a renewed commitment to how we serve one another and our students every day. Whether we’re teaching in the classroom, supporting operations behind the scenes or engaging with our community, each interaction is an opportunity to create a positive impact.

By communicating clearly, treating others with respect and leading with empathy, we strengthen the culture that helps our students thrive.
