Our DPE class had an awesome out of the classroom learning experience during our trip to Kalmbach Feeds in Upper Sandusky!
Students got a real look into the day-to-day life of a diesel mechanic seeing the shop in action, experiencing the sounds of the work environment, and learning what it truly takes to keep things running. They also enjoyed a great lunch and had the opportunity to tour the warehouse, giving them an even broader view of the operation.
A big thank you to Kalmbach Feeds for hosting us and providing such a valuable experience for our students!

🔥 District FFA Outdoor Power Contest – Hosted at Tri-Rivers Career Center 🔧🌱
We were proud to host this year’s District FFA Outdoor Power Contest right here at Tri-Rivers Career Center, where 7 schools competed for a chance to advance to the state level!
Students showcased their technical knowledge and hands-on skills through a variety of challenging stations, including:
✔️ Precision measuring with micrometers and dial calipers
✔️ Electrical testing using digital multimeters
✔️ Interpreting service manuals
✔️ Diagnosing and troubleshooting small engine failures
A huge congratulations to our Tri-Rivers team (Keagan Adams, Alex Hall, and Kaiden Osborn) for earning 2nd place overall and securing their spot at the State Contest! 🏆👏
We are extremely proud of their hard work, dedication, and the skills they continue to develop in our Diesel & Power Equipment Technology program.
Thank you to all participating schools, advisors, and volunteers who helped make this event a success!
