Great day at the IWU Fort Wayne Ed Center. It is a packed house as IWU Partners with our friends at NAPA to host Automotive Professionals from all over Indiana. NAPA is hosting this professional development for seasoned professionals called "Making Sense of Sensors." Technicians are learning proper use of the Lab Scope, Scan Tool, and Digital Multimeter. NAPA Autotech professionals provide this training all over the U.S., and we are excited to be a partner. NAPA professionals also learned about the IWU new Automotive Program and how to partner with us to develop the next generation of techs.

IWU SILD is excited to meet with and explain to students at Hanover Central High School about a program we are developing around Automotive Apprenticeships. We are also listening to student feedback as we outline the programs design. It is in review by HLC and we expect it to be ready for August 2026.

Scholarship funds are available. Are you a recent veteran?
This is a full-time working apprenticeship program, where you will work on vehicles for 8 hours or more per day and take classes online with IWU.
-Stay in your local community.
-No Travel to a Campus.
-Work with a local employer.
-Lower Costs.
-Tools can be provided based on the location and employer.

What a great day at Rush County Schools celebrating all of our great Step Up Teachers. We heard so much great feedback about the great pace of courses, the lack of required travel, and how relevant the teacher training is. Look out for more information on the Step Up Poster Contest!!!
