Today we share our deepest gratitude and love for Teresa as she begins a well-earned retirement.
Teresa cared deeply for Marion and for the people who make this community what it is. She didn’t just know names — she knew stories, faces, class years, and friendships. Through her incredible work, dedication, and genuine love for Marion, she built meaningful connections with so many of our alumni, and her impact will be felt for years to come.
We will miss her greatly, but we are so excited for her as she steps into this next chapter of her journey.
As we move through this transition, please know that our alumni remain at the heart of Marion’s work. I have been trained in Marion’s traditions and communications and have had the privilege of working with many of you for over a year. While there may be brief delays or uncertainty as roles are being filled, we are actively working to ensure continued care and connection, and we appreciate your patience during this time. Please do not be surprised if the email goes unanswered for the rest of winter break, as I am a student worker and must go home for the holidays. But I look forward to returning and continuing to support Marion and you all— the heart of Marion's memory. The Ideal will still be published, and I am excited for you all to see it.
Thank you for your continued grace, support, and love for Marion — and thank you, Teresa, for all you have given to this community. You will always be part of Marion’s story💜
Sincerely,
Sally Terrill
