MA BAND DIRECTORS!!! The MMEA All-State Conference is just a few weeks away. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend the conference this year due to a family obligation, which means I won’t have a table in the vendor exhibitor area. However, I still wanted to give directors the opportunity to win some free percussion maintenance for your equipment! Special job today. I was back at the middle school that I attended in my hometown. The Slingerland timpani that they have there were the ones that I learned on during my high school years. In fact, these drums spent an entire summer at my house before my senior year as I was preparing for college auditions. The 23” head was replaced because it was damaged, a footboard that has been missing for years was replaced, footboard treads and missing mounting screws were replaced on the other pedals, and a missing wheel was also replaced. Thanks to jimfelkermusic for having me out!
