Rainy weather couldn't dampen our spirits in Traverse City! 🌧️✨

Dr. Jacquie Medina had an absolute blast presenting at the MI Outdoor Summit on "From Consultation to Co-Creation"—exploring how to cultivate powerful multi-sector partnerships and shift from simple consultation to true collaborative action.

"It was truly inspiring to present with this amazing group of playful, intelligent, passionate, hardworking, and collaborative people."—all fellow NMU grads and active members of the City of Marquette Cultural Trail Steering Committee:

👥 Presenters (L to R):
• Dr. Jacquie Medina | Professor & ORLM Coordinator, NMU
• Andie Balenger, M.S. | Student Success Advisor, NMU
• Sherri Loonsfoot-Aldred | Local Marquette Artist
• Kathleen Henry | Special Projects Coordinator (Superior Watershed Partnership) & NMU Contingent Instructor
• Amelia Pruiett | Communications Coordinator (City of MQT Arts & Culture) & NMU Adjunct Instructor

Thank you Dr. Jacquie Medina for sharing this amazing experience that you are able to bring back to the Outdoor Recreational & Leadership Programs!

Huge thanks to the fantastic students in HPE 280 (Striking/Fielding/Target Games) for providing great instruction on the course, and special thanks to instructor Jeff Wuorinen for leading the way!
