The Assistant Director of Human Resources (HR) supports the CHS mission by planning, leading, directing,
developing, and coordinating the HR related activities and resources for an assigned geographical area,
ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization& #39;s mission and talent strategy.
As the Assistant Director of Human Resources, you will:
 Affirm the success of an HR team by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new talent; providing
constructive and timely feedback through performance evaluations, daily interactions, guiding,
coaching, and mentoring; administering discipline; and facilitating employment terminations in
accordance with company policy.
 Create successful staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies by exploring internal and external
resources for emerging strategies and innovative practices; engaging in inter-departmental
collaboration; and seeking efficiencies to achieve greater effectiveness.
 Support managers and supervisors by interpreting and applying company policies and procedures;
investigating employment concerns, allegations, and other employee relations issues; developing,
documenting, updating, managing, and executing policies and procedures, including the CHS employee
handbook.
 Facilitate improved workforce planning and stability by identifying staffing and recruiting needs,
developing, and executing contemporary strategies and practices for hiring and talent management.
 Advance continuous improvement by seeking and sharing organizational trends; collect and report
metrics and other data from the company’s employee information system (EIS)
 Foster a person-centered culture by directing implementation of human resources, and human
resources-related programs in harmony with CHS’ core values; managing the full life cycle of
employees from pre- to post-employment including, but not limited to discipline, disputes,
investigations, performance, talent management, productivity, diversity, recognition, morale,
occupational health and safety, training, and professional development.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
 Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in related field from an accredited university plus five years of related
work experience or combination of education and experience to nine years.
 Knowledge of Paycom platform, preferred.
 Experience working in non-profit organizations, preferred.

The Safety Coordinator supports the CHS mission by working collaboratively with CHS departments to improve
the overall safety of CHS facilities and workplaces by assessing safety, enforcing safety standards, and
educating employees.
 Chairs the Safety Committee and collaborates with all CHS departments in analyzing trends, identifying
root causes, and developing strategies for prevention.
 Assists the Service Excellence department in formulating general safety policies and procedures in
compliance with governmental rules and regulations.
 Performs regular inspections of the Center’s facilities to detect existing or potential accident, risk, or
health hazards; recommends corrective and/or preventative measures as required.
 Consults with all departments of the design and use of workspaces, equipment, performs ergonomic
assessments, fire prevention, and safety programs.
 Oversees the administration, investigation, and reconciliation of accounts and claims associated with
the workers’ compensation program.
 Supervises Ewing Center custodial staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) preferably in related field plus three years of related experience or
equivalent combination of education and experience to equal seven years. Experience in OSHA
standards and safety are preferred.
 Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of driver’s insurance.

Registered Behavior Technician

The Registered Behavior Technician implements therapy to support individuals in service needing applied
behavioral and related supports to improve their daily functioning and independence. This position utilizes
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, prompt fading and task
analysis to create individualized plans for clients, families, and teams to implement. Additionally, they are
responsible for documenting daily notes and reporting to the BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) on
updates in behavior as needed.
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 Provide one on one treatment to individuals in need of applied behavior analytic therapy in any and all
locations deemed necessary to support the individual in services.
 Implement and maintain feedback provided by the treating BCBA.
 Implement goals under the supervision of a BCBA.
 Provide adequate feedback regarding the progress of the client to the supervisor.
 Develop professional relationships with caregivers, providing adequate feedback regarding client
progress.
 Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help skills, social skills, and many other targeted goals.
 Keep and track accurate data collection according to the treatment plan over goal progress.
 Adheres to the ethical standards of the BACB and Center for Human Services.
 Observes confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
 The common essential duties and responsibilities described above apply to all individuals holding this
position under the supervision of the BCBA, whether starting as a Behavior Technician-in training or a
Registered Behavior Technician.
 Additional Specific Duties for Behavior Technician-in training.
o Upon hire, completes the 40 hours of RBT training under the supervision of the BCBA.
o Pass the RBT credentialing exam within the first 90 days of hire.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 18 years of age or older

 At least 6 months experience in the developmental disabilities field, in a training/teacher role, or
similar work related to behavioral supports or individual development
 High School Diploma or equivalent
 Able to pass a background check
 RBT-Credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) upon hire
 BT-Credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) within the first 90 days of
hire, to become an RBT

• This position would be operating the board Monday through Friday 5a-10a and occasionally other hours.

The BCBA designs, implements, oversees, and supervises therapy programs to support our persons in services needing applied behavior analysis and related supports to improve their daily functioning and autonomy. This position utilizes ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, prompt fading and task analysis to create individualized plans for clients, families, and teams to implement. Additionally, they are responsible for designing and monitoring data collection to support the evaluation of behaviors and monitor progress. This position is responsible for monitoring the services delivered to the client and family, and for managing personnel issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Able to lead cross functional teams in support of client’s treatment plan
• Administer assessments (e.g., ABLS-RR, AFLS) and create goals based off the assessments.
• Assesses the individual’s performance and implements treatment based on established goals, including but not limited to the FBA (i.e., Functional Behavior Assessment, Behavior Support Plans, Behavior Reduction Plans).
• Serves, communicates, and consults as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provides training and education to staff, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
• Provides feedback and ongoing support to Registered Behavior Technicians
• Participates in ongoing treatment meetings, as well as staff meetings and professional development opportunities
• Supervises Registered Behavior Technicians and ensures the maintenance of their credentials.
• Completes training as stated by CHS policy HRD-P-022 – Training.
• Responsible for promoting a positive Safety Culture is expected and necessary to make CHS a safe place in which to work. Safe work practices and policies for this position shall be reviewed and strictly followed.


REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field (e.g., Special education, Psychology)
• BACB Certification
• Has met Supervisor Requirements through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
