SMSU Children’s Theatre is up and running. 54 colored folders strewn across the stage and our Technical Director, Caleb, celebrates a birthday!

What a great start to the two week workshop!!

“Twinderella” runs June 12 at 9:30am, 11am, and 6:30pm.

“Door to Door” runs June 12 at 8pm and June 13 at 1pm.

Miriam is making an apple pie.
Several years ago, Miriam’s son, Robert, committed a horrible crime and has been sitting on death row ever since. As is the tradition, in the waning hours before the end comes, Robert is granted a last meal.
This is a play about monsters and the mothers of monsters.
And about how we care for each other.
And about how to make a really good apple pie.

The Green Room this year was a popular spot for students to talk and laugh together, study and do homework, eat, sleep, and meet about various projects. After the pandemic, it took a long time for the Green Room to return to the student hangout spot it had always been, so it was great to see it full again!

On the last day of classes, SMSU Entertainment and Theatre Arts, Social Work, and Communication Studies-Broadcasting and Digital Media got together to record a social work simulation in the studio!
