This morning, Dr. Kovar and Sarah led a portion of the Region VI FFA Chapter Officer Workshop in Pipestone. Officers played a round of Emoji Charades and followed it up with learning about themselves, how they communicate with others, and how to work as a team through a color assessment. Thank you to Region VI FFA for inviting us to participate!

This past weekend, Dr. Kovar, Sarah, and our Agricultural Education (Ag Ed) students hosted Ag Ed students from UMN Agricultural Education, Communication and Marketing and U of M Crookston Agricultural Education in our first ever Ag Ed United event! This event was created to gain skills for the classroom and build community within Ag Ed programs in the state. On Friday, we traveled to Dr. Beebout-Bladholm's flower farm to learn about teacher identities (and come home with some beautiful bouquets). On Saturday, students had breakout sessions with Ag Ed faculty, learned about ANFR pathways, toured the Marshall Ag Ed department, and heard from a panel about opportunities and advice for their careers. It was a jam-packed and fun weekend!
