SMAC's Leadership Team would like to take a moment to recognize Chidinma Ikwunze as she winds down her time as its Managing Partner. Chidinma is the glue that binds our high speed, low drag operation. Please read and help us celebrate this exceptionally gifted and talented student-leader:
Chidinma is an MBA student at SMSU graduating December 2022. During her time as a student, she held several student leadership positions. She served as the student body president and as the Business Manager for Southwest Marketing Advisory Center (SMAC) for one year, and thereafter transitioned into the role of SMAC’s Managing Director in her final semester. Prior to becoming the managing director of SMAC, she was able to effectively and efficiently manage all of SMAC's various projects while providing excellent and quality service to clients.
She worked with a team of others students in SMAC and she performed a wide variety of duties in SMAC. She conducted interviews, held focus group sessions, designed and analyzed surveys, prepared feasibility study reports, performed data analysis, presented at several speaking engagements, conducted both primary and secondary research projects, and also performed general oversight of the department’s fund and projects. More recently and specifically, she worked on the Exit Poll Data Project for the 2022 Mid-term elections where she prepared and analyzed the data needed for election forecast. She has also previously worked on Research projects into MBA programs and Housing options for students in SMSU.
Her favorite part of working with SMAC is the feedback and success stories she receives from satisfied clients. When she is not working, she enjoys listening to music/podcasts, playing indoor games, and watching TV shows. One fun fact about Chidinma is, she loves to laugh, and she laughs a lot at very random things.
