O magnum mysterium is a traditional chant from the Matins of Christmas, praising the Virgin Mary and giving birth to the baby Jesus. ⛪️

et admirabile sacramentum,
ut animalia viderent Dominum natum,
iacentem in praesepio!
Beata Virgo, cujus viscera
meruerunt portare
Dominum Iesum Christum.

O great mystery,
and wonderful sacrament,
those animals should see the newborn Lord,
