Originating in 1989, the SMSU Gala remains the SMSU Foundation's signature fundraising event, benefiting scholarships for the students of Southwest Minnesota State University. Through the support of committee and community members; SMSU alumni, faculty, staff and administration; attendees, sponsors, businesses and other supporters, the University Gala has made a significant difference in transform
ing the lives of SMSU students. We hope you will join us for Gala—held annually the Friday of Homecoming! Gala attendees experience the distinctive talents of the SMSU family who help with and perform at the event, which highlights a sensational evening of entertainment, including:
