Dr. Clinton Smith, professor of special education, will receive the 2026 Higher Educator of the Year award from the National Education Association later this summer.
This award honors a higher education professional who goes above and beyond through student-centered leadership, strong advocacy efforts, and meaningful community involvement.
Dr. Clinton Smith will receive the prestigious Higher Educator of the Year award in July.
