We have partnered with national seed and chemical companies: Helena, Syngenta, Pioneer, and various regional companies. Through a unversity lease program with Case IH, and H&R A

gri-Power, students have the opportunity to operate the latest innovations in precision agriculture technologies. With 150 acres of permanent pasture the Farm is home to a 50 head angus based commercial and recipient cow herd. Students learn the latest techniques in stockmanship, animal husbandry, and management. The Farm also annually runs 500-1000 head of stocker calves on permanent and annual pastures used for classes, labs, as well as feed and grazing trials. In addition the Farm houses a 20 acre sheep and meat goat facility. The sheep and goat herd is used for animal production and vet science labs, as well as graduate level research projects.
