Ready to gain real-world professional experience while earning college credit? 👏

Apply for Knacktive, the university’s interactive digital media marketing class that produces a final project for a real-world client over the course of the spring semester. The three credit-hour class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m., and the class is divided into three project teams of eight students each, with each team having specific positions, which are described on our website (see the link below).

These teams mimic the real-world team composition of most advertising and marketing agencies. In fact, professionals from numerous agencies will speak to the class over the course of the semester and help you develop your team’s project and potentially become professional mentors, or at the very least a professional networking contact!

This year’s client will be the Northwest Creamery, which has hired Knacktive to help it form a solid identity and awareness of its mission as it launches its line of dairy products.

Did you know? On this day in 1979, high winds and rain stripped the Olive DeLuce Fine Arts Building of its roofing, allowing water to pour onto the Charles Johnson Theater stage and causing damage to 100 prints in the Percival DeLuce Memorial Collection. Roof damage at Wells Library also caused severe water damage to about 120 books! ⛈️

Northwest Missouri State University’s Department of Fine and Performing Arts will host a juried exhibition of contemporary ceramics in its Olive DeLuce Art Gallery, beginning March 24.
