What an amazing week at Critter Camp! 🦉🐞🐟🐢🐍

Our young explorers spent the week discovering the incredible wildlife of Iowa. From dissecting owl pellets and catching insects to learning how to fish, meeting reptiles and amphibians, and wading into the water to collect pond critters, every day brought a new adventure and hands-on learning experience.

A huge thank you to our camp leaders and to Hanson Nature Center, Thorpe Park, and Pilot K**b for helping make this unforgettable week possible. We loved seeing the curiosity, excitement, and enthusiasm from all of our campers!

This summer, several NIACC students and graduates are gaining valuable hands-on experience through internships with local employers and organizations. We're excited to highlight their journeys and celebrate the impact these opportunities have on their career development.

Meet Vitor, a NIACC graduate who recently began a Finance and Accounting internship with the Community Kitchen of North Iowa. Working alongside his supervisor, Karen Sturges, Vitor is gaining real-world experience while building skills that will support his future career goals.

We look forward to sharing more intern spotlights throughout the summer!
