Last post of the day in catching up a little. Our 3D CAD- SolidWorks class is dual credit with MPTC. That means our students are getting credit from MPTC as well as our school. MPTC changed the assignments, which means this is the first year of these drawings. Take a look at this awesome animation that Pearl W. created as part of her projects for the class. Every part you see here was created by Pearl. Started from nothing. So awesome!

It's been a minute since we posted anything. Anybody read any good articles lately? Specifically from the Dodge County Pioneer? 'Tis the season for Easter egg hunts? If you read a particular article in this weeks paper, you may find a hint in regards to what we will be buying with the grant money we have received?? 😉

The 2nd evening of Create with a Cardinal was a success! Great group of people and the students did awesome! Special shout outs to Mrs. Schaefer and Mrs. Heideman for taking the pictures! Also to the student helpers over the first 2 events: Kellen, Pearl, Andy, Isaac and Selena. Best part of teaching is watching students teach others, as well as showing off the space they get to work in! Another date coming up in April! Thank you!

An unbelievable afternoon in Tech Ed today. Over 25 businesses showed up for an open house and presentation on ways to better prepare Mayville students for their futures. Very thankful for all of the individuals that took the time out their busy days to listen to what we had to say. It is a great time to be in Tech Ed in Mayville! Our students are awesome and they deserve the best! .

More big news from the Tech Ed department! Our tshirts were pretty big news, but I think we will all agree that this tops it. Today, we received official notification that we will be receiving a grant that we applied for!! The total of this grant is just under $100,000!! No, this account did not get hacked. You read that correctly! So grateful to the Mark G. Sellers Foundation for the opportunity to continue to build something great to help students succeed! What are we buying you ask?? Lets keep a little suspense for now. If you know a student in our program, maybe they will tell you?? Perks of being in Tech Ed! 😀
