Congratulations to Emily E. Anderson, PhD, MPH, on being named a Hastings Center for Bioethics 2025 Fellow! Hastings Center Fellows are individuals of outstanding accomplishment whose work has informed scholarship and public understanding of complex ethical issues in health, health care, science, and technology.

Dr. Anderson is a professor in the Neiswanger Institute for Bioethics at Stritch and teaches research ethics and responsible conduct of research to graduate and medical students, as well as courses in empirical bioethics and global bioethics. She is the principal investigator of the Loyola University Chicago-Ukrainian Catholic University International Bioethics Training Program, which provides doctoral education in research ethics to scholars and professionals from Ukraine.

Congratulations to our Professor Katherine Wasson who just completed two days of intensive clinical ethics case consultation simulations with these amazing students! They were put through 3 tough cases and received detailed feedback. They did a great job and it was absolutely wonderful to have them on campus. Dr. Wasson is a national leader in using such simulations to train ethics consultants.
