STC Music Department

STC Music Department AA Music Music ensembles are open for participation to the general student body.

The Associate of Arts with Music Concentration will focus on establishing a solid music foundation in music theory, music literature, applied instrumental lessons and participation in various music ensembles in preparation for the completion of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. It is intended for transferability to higher education institutions by the serious music student wishing to continue his/her study of music while completing the core curriculum course work.

What an incredible week of music-making! A huge thank you to Dr. Alex Sanso for sharing his expertise with our students. From last Wednesday’s focused trumpet masterclasses to today’s inspiring sessions with the our brass studio, his insights have been invaluable.

Don’t miss the chance to hear Dr. Sanso in action this Thursday, May 7th, as he performs the virtuosic Carnival of Venice with the STC Symphonic Band.
