We are excited to announce that Aaren Cadd will be joining us full-time next year!
Aaren Cadd holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance with a concentration in Opera Performance and a strong interest in Pedagogy and Directing from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.
Aaren has performed professionally across the United States and internationally in Germany, Belgium, and Italy. Her notable roles include Nedda (I Pagliacci), Zweite Dame (Die Zauberflöte), Sorceress/Second Woman (Dido and Aeneas), Turandot (Turandot), and Suor Angelica (Suor Angelica).
Previously, Aaren served as Regional Manager, Director of Musical Theater, and lead Piano and Voice Instructor at The Music Academy DFW. In this role, she developed and led a variety of programs, including musical theater camps, homeschool music classes, early childhood music education, and free community master classes.
After returning to Murray, Kentucky, Aaren founded Cadd Music Studios—the first community-based music school in the city—serving students throughout West Kentucky and Tennessee. The studio employs teachers who hold or are pursuing music degrees from Murray State and surrounding universities, ensuring the highest standard of music education for all ages and skill levels. Cadd Music Studios is dedicated to fostering a positive, inspiring learning environment where every student can thrive.
Many of Aaren’s students have achieved remarkable success, including winning regional and district composition competitions, earning distinguished Solo and Ensemble ratings, gaining acceptance into performing arts magnet schools, and auditioning for professional theater companies such as Sesame Street Live.
In her teaching, Aaren emphasizes Pedagogy, Aural Skills, Sight Reading/Singing, Music Theory, and body alignment. She also provides expert coaching for audition repertoire, UIL and All-State/All-District music, musical theater and belting techniques, and more—empowering her students to grow as confident, well-rounded performers.
