Finally, for our last senior spotlight, we have Ian Hutter, a double major in Business and History!

His senior comprehensive project focused on Soviet economics and the factors that ultimately led to the collapse of the Soviet Union. During his four years at Allegheny, he enjoyed experiences ranging from competing on the football team to being an active part of Fiji.

Some of his favorite memories in the chapter came from the late-night hangouts in the living room at the house with the brothers. Thank you Ian for the friendships, memories, and contributions you brought to the chapter throughout the years. Wishing you nothing but success in whatever comes next!

Congratulations to all of our seniors who have graduated. Good luck in your next endeavors and plans in the future!

Next up for senior spotlight, we have Logan Lee, a Business major with a minor in Communication and Media!

His senior comprehensive project analyzed the competitive strategies of Estée Lauder and L’Oréal Luxe in the prestige fragrance industry, with a focus on pricing, product launches, distribution, and overall market performance.

Some of his favorite memories from the chapter include the two Fiji spring break trips, where the brothers were able to bond together and experience the Florida beaches as a group. Following graduation, he plans to begin a career in the banking industry before eventually pursuing graduate school.

We appreciate all of the energy and commitment Logan has brought to the chapter over the years, and we cannot wait to see what he accomplishes next. Best of luck in all of your future endeavors, Logan!

Next up for senior spotlight, we have Michael Kinzey, a Physics major with minors in Economics and Astronomy!

His comp focused on creating a formula that predicts bound mass during black hole-star collisions dependent upon initial conditions. Outside of his academics, he served as Treasurer of both SPS and the Astronomy Club during his time at Allegheny.

Some of the greatest memories he gathered from our chapter include bowling events and late-night Sheetz trips with the brothers. After undergrad, he plans to pursue a PhD in Physics at the University of Rochester.

Thank you Michael for all of the support and dedication you have shown throughout your time in the chapter. Good luck in your future, Michael!

Next up for senior spotlight, we have Jonah Wells, a Physics major and Economics Minor!

His comp, a hefty lab-based one, took an in-depth analysis into low temperature EPR spectroscopy with a focus in studying the color centers in rare crystals found on earth. Outside of his academics, he previously competed on the football team for 3 years while also spending all 4 years throwing javelin for Allegheny’s track and field. He also previously served as president of the Pi Chapter.

Some of the greatest experiences he gathered from in our chapter include axe throwing and attending the Allegheny hockey games with brothers. After undergrad, he plans to pursue a PhD in Physics at Carnegie-Mellon University.

Thank you Jonah for all of the support and effort you have shown in taking initiative towards advancing our chapter. Best of luck in your next chapter, Jonah!

Tomorrow Fiji is having a big recruiting event at the 606 house! If you are interested in joining Greek life, come down and meet the brothers! It will be from 2-3:30 pm, hope to see you all there!

With graduation just around the corner, we’re excited to recognize our 5 seniors in our 2026 Senior Spotlight!

First up, we have Nolan Kons. He is a Physics Major and Art, Science, and Innovation Minor. His comp was called Putting Stars into Perspective: Showcasing Star Collisions on a Dome Planetarium, where he utilized the Allegheny Wible Planetarium as a base for communication in STEM. Some of the most fond memories come from helping choreograph the dances for Battle of the Muses the past three years he’s been in FIJI.

After college, he plans to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Maryland in Civil & Environmental Engineering in the Fall.

Good luck, Nolan! We look forward to seeing what comes in your next chapter of life!

Last weekend, the Pi Chapter celebrated the annual Frank B. Norris Pig Dinner. Brothers gathered for dinner alongside many FIJI graduates, engaging in various traditions hearing speeches, presenting fraternal awards, and partaking in kissing the pig.

Thank you to the various alum who participated. We could not have done it without you!
